Weekend morning tables here go fast, and it's not hard to see why. Champoreau runs a French-fusion menu from breakfast through dinner, with coffee in the morning and wine taking over by evening.

It sits inside Jewelz by King's Hotel, the nine-storey, 61-room building that gave Waterloo Street a new skyline in June 2025. Most Georgetown restaurants still work out of converted houses. This one didn't, and it's become one of the city's most talked-about breakfast spots because of it.

Given the name and its association with Kings and the afflicted restaurants of Bistro and Realm, I was was rather disappointed. While the food nor the service was bad, it was slow and the food came cold. Additionally, servers seem to lack the attention needed for a place that market its self as upscale. Its the small nuances that were left unchecked had my me unwilling to visit again.

Champoreau offers a modern, well-designed space with a solid dining experience. The menu is well put together, and dishes are nicely presented with good flavour. Service is attentive. Prices generally reflect the overall experience, making it a good choice for special occasions or business dining.

Food was good, love the ambiance. Its was a heavy rainy day, would have been nice if there was someone to help with an umbrella to and from the vehicle and door. The building is a hotel also . Will definitely visit again . You should too
