Hungarian dishes rebuilt with Asian technique, in a former chocolate factory

Celsius opened in December 2025 in the old Stühmer chocolate factory building on Szentkirályi utca. The kitchen crosses Hungarian dishes with Asian method, so the menu carries things like Hortobágy filling in a bao and mangalica pork done as tonkatsu.

The drinks list matters here as much as the food, with a full cocktail programme and a properly worked-out alcohol-free section, which is still rare in Budapest.

Great place for a drink with friends when all other places are closed. It is a hotel bar with nice new interior. Despite the occasional shouting kids running around(as hotel lobby together with bar area) we had no problem chatting. It was a good choice to come here. Would try their food the next time. Bartenders were super nice. Great recommendations and service. Alcohol-free wine was nice,white wines were also good, red wines on the wine list were flat.

I had the best Caesar salad I had in my life here. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere inside is just so fun and relaxing and the music choices played inside is also nice. As a BP resident I'm so glad such places exist!

The staff were incredibly welcoming and the food was amazing! The blend of flavours was perfectly balanced and the presentation was worthy of a Michelin star.
