Baby-friendly brunch and light-roast coffee

Manooka calls itself Eger's first baby-friendly café, and the downtown space backs that up, built with families in mind. The menu runs light-roast coffee, bagel sandwiches, breakfast plates and vegan pastries.

It's a morning fixture on Bajcsy-Zsilinszky utca, the kind of place where a stroller parked by the door is normal, not an exception.

We were disappointed to find the kitchen was closed at 1pm, so only sandwiches without eggs were on offer. We couldn't find this information printed anywhere inside or outside the cafe. Maybe we missed it? We decided to stay and tried the bagel sandwiches. They were delicious! We also tried the batch brew (AMAZING!), latte, dirty chai, and a flat white. All great, but on the expensive end for a kávézó in our experience. Glad we tried it.

Very cosy, small, baby and kid friendly coffee shop, we had a very tasty and stodge breakfast. The place is located on a pedestrian street so it is very quiet and easy to find. Good value for money, highly recommend if passing by.

Amazing Café, much better then the ones on the main square, cheaper as well. It has a nice garden and the service was so kind and quick as well. I had a waffle with berries and it was delicious. Highly recommend.
