Specialty coffee out of a bright yellow school bus

Skool Beans is a converted school bus parked at the edge of Vík, run by a British couple as Iceland's first micro roaster, tea lab and hot chocolate operation. They take the whole thing more seriously than the setup suggests, and the single origin coffee and hot chocolates prove it.

The bus is small and often has a line out the door, but the drinks are worth the wait. Grab a coffee and one of the loaded hot chocolates before heading east.
