Mithai gets a modern twist next to Peshawri

Skip the usual sweet-shop trays. This counter beside ITC Grand Chola's Peshawri turns classic mithai into things like a rabri taco, gulab jamun cheese indulgence and a besan laddoo phirni tart, without losing the flavours that made the originals worth eating.

The savoury shelf holds up too: Madras mixture, kalimirch nimki, peri peri cashews. Grab a box of badushah or malai khaja on the way out, it's an easy host gift.
