Coffee before six, cocktails after
One address, two personalities. Flipside runs as a proper cafe by day on Baner Road, then flips into a bar around six, lighting dimmed and all.
The coffee isn't just filler before happy hour, it's actually worth ordering. Cocktails stay short and classic-leaning rather than trying to be clever. Friday nights get packed from about eight, so get there early if you want a seat.

A nice place for small group outings (two or four people). The lighting is dim (but matches the vibe and is nice and comfortable). I had the Kokum & Berry Fizz mocktail and it tasted great. The clover club cocktail was decent. We had harissa mushroom hummus (great veg option), bheja fry toast (nice lamb option), tandoori prawns (nice and fresh, delicious), fish fingers, and Yakitori Chicken (highly recommended). Dessert was Basque cheesecake (excellent), caramel custard (great), and tiramisu (good). Service is a little slow so I’d recommend ordering things as soon as possible. I highly recommend using online apps for booking table in advance and payment. They have indoor and outdoor seating options. Outdoor has more 4-seater tables (but smoking is allowed there), indoor only has one. Indoor has more 2-seater tables. There’s only one 6-8 seater table inside. They have a nice washroom but it’s upstairs. We liked the music too.

Flipside truly lives up to its name — a café by day and a buzzing bar by night! Visited in the evening and absolutely loved the vibe. The space transforms beautifully after dark with mood lighting, great music, and a cocktail menu that’s clearly crafted with care. We tried a few of their signature drinks (highly recommend the Gin-based cocktails!), and each one was a hit. The bar bites are equally impressive — flavour-packed, perfectly portioned, and great for sharing. The staff was warm and attentive, and the service was seamless throughout. Whether you're looking for a quiet daytime hangout or a fun night out with friends, Flipside nails both. A must-visit in Baner!

One of the best spots I’ve visited in Pune! This place perfectly transforms from a cozy café during the day to a lively bar at night — the vibe is just on point. The ambience is warm, aesthetic, and super inviting whether you're catching up with friends or just chilling solo. I absolutely loved their coffee — rich and aromatic, just how I like it. The bagel was fresh and satisfying, and the cheesecake was heavenly! Definitely a go-to place if you're looking for great food, amazing drinks, and the perfect setting. Can’t wait to visit again!

Loved spending my evening at Flipside. It’s a cute little cafe and bar that just feels right. The food was comforting and the drinks were made with care. The atmosphere is calm and chill, and the whole place gives off warm, welcoming vibes. Definitely bookmarking this for casual hangouts.

Flipside is a boutique bar with speakeasy vibes and understated elegance. It’s the kind of place that effortlessly transitions from coffee by day to cocktails by night. Flipside blends cozy textures, vintage accents, and a warm, artsy charm, the kind of space that makes you want to sip slow and stay longer We tried quite a spread — veg gyoza, chicken pepper fry, kheema on toast, prawns, mushroom sliders, and ended with their tiramisu. Everything tasted decent, with the sliders and tiramisu being the most memorable. The ambiance is cosy, warm, and perfect for both casual hangs and date nights. Would definitely drop by again for their cocktails, food and relaxed vibe.
