Nanna's Negroni

A whole menu of negroni variations, Italian-French food to match
The name tells you exactly what to order first. Nanna's Negroni runs a whole column of variations on the drink, and the bar seats on the small first-floor room are the ones to ask for.
Food leans bistro rather than trattoria, French and Italian sitting side by side. Quiet enough on a weeknight to actually talk.

Visited for dinner. 1st visit. Weekday - not much crowd. Could see a few parcels being taken. Staff polite. Well informed. Ambience - OK. Interiors simple. Somewhat monotone. I feel there should be some brightness / colors for a better feeling. Starters were not served. (I don't know why) Main course was served. Starters ~ 1. Bone marrow on garlic bread. Bread was well toasted but could have been less oily. Garlic flavour could be more enhanced. Marrow paste was OK. Overall an OK dish. 2. Char grilled King Prawns. Prawns could have been bigger. I wouldn't mind paying more. Could have been bit more lemony garlicky and if bigger, easier to make them more succulent and juicy. OK dish. 3. Crab and garlic butter focaccia. Good portion size. Very tasty. Great dish. Main Course ~ 1. Confit Duck leg . Very tasty leg, well braised, well done, succulent. Accompanying puree, potatoes, peach were all great. Very fine dish. 2. Truffle mushroom risotto . Very well done, truffles were tasty. Mushrooms were good. Good dish. 3. Lemon ricotta ravioli pasta . Nice and creamy. Tomato sauce was good. Pasta done well and soft. Crisp Parmesan. Very good dish. Dessert ~ Tiramisu - the real high point of the evening. One of the finest I've ever had. Worth all your money. Definitely to go again and taste more dishes.

As i walk in on a week day for early dinner.. the place was completely empty and it made me think if this was the right place to be in.. As we chatted away we directly ordered large plates wiyh a different cocktail/ mocktail for each of us.. the first dig at the pizza was mind blowing.. we had ordered the eggplant one and was in doubt if this is a right choice.. but it was one of tbe softest dough had in a long time and a wonderful twist of toppings.. same was for the raviolli.. super soft and yumm.. in cocktails hello stranger a vodka based concoction was really good while others were just ok.. i did ot enjoy the mocktail though (the pineapple base).. but food overpowered.. and the sweet ending with yet another tasty tiramisu is worth mentioning and wr polished it off in minutes.. can really visut agaim.. as the food is worth it!!

Went here for dinner last night and overall had a lovely experience. The service was impeccable from start to finish, and the cocktails were absolutely delicious — hands down the best whiskey sour in town. The food was good overall, although quite a few things on the menu weren’t available, which was a bit disappointing. That said, some dishes really stood out. The beef tartare was easily the best thing we ordered. The pepperoni pizza was good too, though a little sweeter than I personally prefer. The steak was cooked well but slightly overdone for our liking. A special mention for the mashed potatoes — genuinely some of the best I’ve had. The pulled pork pasta in sage sauce was also packed with flavour and very enjoyable. The only dish that didn’t work for us was the farmer’s steamed fish; the sauce completely overpowered the fish itself. We ended with the tiramisu, which was excellent and very generously portioned — though I wouldn’t have complained about a little more liquor in it. Would definitely come back, especially for the cocktails and a few standout dishes.

I visited Negroni recently and had a slightly mixed experience at the start. There was a noticeable fishy smell when we entered, which was a bit off-putting. However, we informed the staff and they handled it promptly — after that, everything felt normal. Once that was taken care of, we genuinely enjoyed the food and the overall ambiance. The place has a great vibe, and the quality of the food really stood out. Apart from the initial smell issue, everything else was amazing, and I’d definitely consider visiting again.

One of the finest dine in places in Baner. I couldn’t find a flaw with any single element. 1. Picante Pizza was top notch, great base, fresh ingredients, umami of flavours. 2. Beer was fresh and refreshing. 3. Ravioli was crunchy and creamy. 4. Cocktail was prepared with intricacies it carried tha smokinesses throughout the drink. 5. Tiramisu was the perfect cherry on top and it was the perfect dessert after such a great. 6. The Baked Camembert with sourdough chips was underwhelming, the chips were rock hard and were difficult to eat. 2/5 7. Wild Mishroom Tortellini looked a million bucks but it had a very strong mushroom flavour. 3.5/5 8. Chicken Cutlet were excellent and the three dips alongside paired excellently 5/5 Update: Went here again and I was slightly disappointed how they’ve changed the tiramisu serving for bookings through District. This should be clearly specified in while booking.
