Skip the sour mix. Trippy Tequila built its whole back bar around agave, blanco through añejo, plus a handful of mezcals, and the margarita list is where it proves the point.

Food stays snack-sized and Mexican-adjacent, just enough to keep you upright. It runs late and gets loud after eleven, so go early if you want to hear yourself order.

Visited Trippy Tequila recently for the Pankaj Jha event, and it’s a great new addition to the city’s dining scene. The outdoor seating has a nice vibe and makes for a relaxed place to hang out with friends or family. We ordered the Aglio e Olio pasta, nachos, and Paneer Bullet. The food was decent overall, with good presentation. While there’s still room to refine a few flavors, the dishes were enjoyable, and the ambiance made the experience worthwhile. It’s a nice spot to unwind, especially if you enjoy outdoor seating.

Trippy Tequila scores well on ambience and vibes. The Cocktail Darbar with its 12 signature cocktails is creative and definitely the highlight of the experience. Located in Arbour, Kalyani Nagar, it’s a great spot for drinks and nightlife. The inside section had the DJ on Friday night and got too loud to have a conversation but was good if you want to dance, so we moved outside which was much better. The food, however, was fairly average and no dish specifically stood out. The Basque Cheesecakes presentation was really cool tho. The place is worth visiting for the cocktails and atmosphere.
