Street-stall chai, served in clay cups in Vesu

Baithack does its chai the old way. It comes in a kulhad, a traditional clay cup, instead of ceramic or paper, and the earthy smell that comes off the rim is half the point.

It's part of a small wave of kulhad-format cafes popping up across Gujarat, taking a street-stall staple and giving it a proper seat and table on VIP Road.
