Freshly-churned ice cream, made to order in Surat

Skip the tubs sitting in a freezer since last month. Ice Cream Works churns each batch fresh rather than scooping from a pre-made base, which is the whole pitch behind India's only chain built that way.

The new Surat counter runs the brand's standard setup you'll find in other cities. One catch: it closes at 7pm on weekdays, earlier than most dessert spots in town.
