The upscale option near Assi Ghat

Assi Ghat has more cafes per block than anywhere else in Varanasi, but most are chasing the backpacker crowd with the same thali and wifi. Caravan skips that entirely and aims a notch above.

Local food accounts pushed this one hard when it opened, and the address explains why: an easy walk from the ghat, with none of the plastic-chair feel.
