Mr. Egg opened on Jl. Melawai 9 No. 10C in Blok M in July 2026, an all-day cafe that runs around the clock, unusual for a Jakarta cafe of this size, drawing equally on Melbourne brunch culture and Tokyo cafe format. Breakfast, bagels, burgers and specialty coffee all stay on the menu whether it is 8am or 2am.

The 24/7 hours put it in direct competition with Blok M's late-night street food stalls rather than the neighborhood's other daytime cafes, a deliberate positioning for a strip known for staying awake past midnight.

In-N-Out dupe, in a very good way! Probably my current favorite burger joint in Jakarta. If you love proper, "clean", no BS burgers, it's a must try. Perfectly smashed and charred patties with ✨potato buns✨. Disclaimer: they're pricey, even for Jakarta standards. Guess they brought their Bali price.
