Doux Cafe opened on Jalan Sriwijaya in Medan Petisah in 2025, built around French-leaning pastries and manual brew coffee instead of the photo-ready dessert cases that define a lot of the city's newer cafes. White walls and pale wood keep the room calmer than most of its Petisah neighbors.

Croissants and tarts come out of the oven through the morning, and the manual brew list gives regulars a reason to stick around after the pastry case empties. The room is smaller than most of the newer Petisah spots, so weekend mornings fill up fast.
