European-style garden terrace, back for 2025
Petite Terrasse 2.0 relaunched in January 2025, an update to the original cafe on Jalan Sei Belutu. Rattan chairs and pastel flowers spread across the terrace, built for a European garden look, and the menu blends old cafe favorites with new dishes for regulars and newcomers alike.
The terrace is the reason to come, shaded enough for a midday coffee but open enough that it doesn't feel like another glass box with air-con. Weekends get busy fast, and the garden tables go first.

Enjoyable atmosphere with warm and lovely French style decoration. The food is superb, pampering our pallate, such as Ox Tounge Gnocchi, pizza and the mashed potato is smooth and buttery. The staffs and chefs are professional and hospitable. Thank you.

Well i was so eagerly eat french cuisine…but not really satisfied… My review based on my own preference… 1. Duck confit…the texture oke, the spice balance, the seasoning oke but the smell of the duck still there and its so disturbing actually…point is 6/10. 2. Beef Wellington….the pastrie too tough and the wellington quite hard to cut…the balance between dough and the meet not correctly done…the spice and seasoning oke…the texture of the beef nicely done with medium cook. Point is 6.5/10. 3. Gnoochi with beef tongue…the spice and seasoning balance so well, the beef tongue so spot on!!! Mamamiaaa for the beef tongue, but the texture of the gnoochi seems over cook and the balance between flour and potato not correct…point is 7/10. 4. Escargot gratinee…actually so hard to taste the escargoot coz its filled fully by the sauce…i dont know how to say about this dish actually…the spice and seasoning balance…point is 6/10. 5. Mix berries youghurt…taste nice and balance between the youghurt and the berries…the acidity and the sweetness balance so well. Point is 9/10

Very good food in Medan, not too expensive, and with great atmosphere for photoshoots. The mushroom risotto, clam vongole, escargot, tiramisu, and madeline (without rum) were so good. Duck confit was a little dry. Pistachio latte and orange coffee should be missed.
