A nine-seat matcha counter inside a yoga studio on Carey's Lane

Nine stools, one counter, and Monica Steencamp whisking matcha inside Cork Lotus Studio. Moon Child only runs weekends, so plan around it.

Fridays and Saturdays, 10am to 3:30pm, that's your window before the studio takes the room back. Miss it and catch Steencamp instead at the Douglas or Mahon Point farmers' markets on Thursdays and Saturdays.

LOVE this matcha!! The matcha is of great quality with a vibrant color of green. The different options are impressive, I had the earl grey matcha and the woman working there even offered to try the earl grey syrup beforehand. Plus, we had a really nice conversation with her (: Matcha tools, stickers, cups and other stuff can also be bought there, very cute! As a tourist who has tried many different matchas in various countries, this is one of the best ones I’ve ever had!!

Great matcha! They use proper ceremonial grade matcha powder sourced from Shizuoka and not stingy with the amount of matcha powder used in the drink. Great customer service and they've got a variety of matcha menu to choose from! I would definitely come back here again to get another matcha the next time I'm back in Cork! You can tell the good quality of matcha from the vibrant green colour of the drink! ❤️ They only use plant-based milk with the matcha drinks which is a plus as all the matcha benefits will not get absorbed well when paired with cows milk due to the presence of casein in cow's milk.

Best matcha I have had in Cork by far! Highly recommend the earl grey one! If you love matcha (or you wanna try it out) this is the place for you.
