A bistro on Piazza Cavour from Como's first Green Star chef

Mirko Gatti holds Como's first Michelin Green Star, and Caffè Lariano is where he runs a looser, all-day menu instead of a tasting one. Pastries in the morning, then lunch and dinner, all set up as a bistro rather than a formal room.

It sits on the ground floor of Palazzo San Gottardo on Piazza Cavour, sharing the building with the upstairs fine dining room Radiante but keeping its own pace. Open Wednesday to Monday from 10:30am, with a pastry counter running through the afternoon.
