A mountain rifugio for wine and polenta in Como's old town

Wood and stone give this place the feel of a mountain rifugio, not a typical enoteca. The kitchen keeps it simple: polenta, cheese and cured-meat boards, crostoni, and a wine list built around glasses rather than full bottles.

nice quiet atmosphere, sweet staff. had a delicious zucchini, goat cheese, potato dish that was so flavorful. Be aware that we accidentally entered in the bar section and realized the restaurant was next door

Lovely spot in central Como. I had a yummy Guinness on tap with nice bar snacks but next time I'll definitely try a wine and have a proper polenta dish. But which one? Uncia! Tiny spot but warm and welcoming atmosphere.
