Moby D opened at the start of 2025 inside the hypogeal, underground architecture of a historic palazzo on Via Loggia dei Pisani, near Piazza Giovanni Bovio in central Naples. The space shares its address with Aria Restaurant, and the lounge bar takes the vaulted, below-ground rooms of the building as its main design feature rather than disguising them.
The drinks list runs from maritime-themed signature cocktails to classic mixology, open only in the evening, Wednesday and Thursday from 9pm to 2am and Friday and Saturday until 2:30am. The limited opening hours keep it closer to a destination nightcap spot than an all-week neighborhood bar.

Best bar in Naples, and best barman in Naples! Luca (whose New York-influenced style elevates every drink he touches), is an absolute master of his craft. Andrea and Max are equally excellent, and honestly the whole staff is outstanding across the board. Warm, welcoming, and incredibly skilled at what they do. The atmosphere, lighting, cocktails, and music all come together perfectly — 10/10, would recommend to anyone looking for a great drink in a truly special setting. Luca, you're the best!

A truly unique, intimate, and refined venue with a unique atmosphere that captivates you as soon as you enter. The real highlight, however, are the cocktails: top-quality and perfectly balanced. My classic Sazerac was among the best I've ever had! Highly recommended for truly delicious drinks and a unique experience.

I was there yesterday and I have to say that the atmosphere is very welcoming. We were served by a guy named "LUCIANO" who was truly knowledgeable in the smallest details and recommended some local specialties to us and he was super professional. The owner is a truly affable and kind person. The only flaw is that you have to wait quite a while before being seated but you know that if you want to eat well it's worth waiting even 2 hours. I will definitely be back soon.

Super nice and professional service. We got our own personal made cocktails by the bartender after being asked what we liked which made the whole experience wonderful. Recommend this place!
