A tropical, tiki-inspired cocktail bar replacing Chiaia's Platanos
Rosita opened on November 6, 2024 in Chiaia, on the site of Platanos, a bar that had sat closed for years before this project took over the space. It's built around a tropical, tiki-rooted drinks list reworked with a more contemporary hand, alongside Latin American-inspired tapas that lean on the same reinterpreted-classics approach as the cocktails.
The room runs Tuesday to Sunday starting at 6pm, positioning itself as an evening destination in a part of Chiaia already dense with bars, betting that a fully committed tropical theme, rather than a general cocktail menu, would set it apart from its immediate neighbors.
Good to know
- Open from 6pm Tuesday to Sunday. The tapas menu leans on the same reinterpreted-classics approach as the cocktails.

We had a great time here last weekend. The drinks were excellent, and Davide took care of us with great attention, suggesting cocktails that suited each of us perfectly. The music gave the night an extra kick without being overwhelming. It’s the kind of spot where you can start with a calm vibe and end up dancing with friends.

A perfect Saturday evening. Cristian, the waiter, was very helpful, making us feel at ease right away. The cocktails were really good and original, not the usual ones you find everywhere else. We spent the evening chatting, laughing, and listening to some music that made the atmosphere even more pleasant.

Stunning location. The venue is upscale, but we immediately felt at ease, thanks above all to the staff. The staff is not only knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly. I chose a "Rosita" cocktail (their take on the Negroni) from the menu and enjoyed it. My wife instead had a daiquiri, which was also very good. We were there on a Friday, and there was a soft DJ set. A very pleasant experience, especially because we love South America, and the venue echoes those lands for both drinks and food. Definitely one of our favorite cocktail bars in Naples. P.S. The icing on the cake is their delicious sweet empanada.

I came here after dinner with my girlfriend. It's a really cute place, with great attention to detail. Davide was brilliant at making fresh, well-balanced cocktails. We also tried some delicious food. The DJ set the mood for a relaxed yet energetic evening.
