Sunset seats over Positano, cocktail in hand

Skip the crowds at Terrazza Celè next door and grab a lounge chair here instead. Red is the new cocktail and champagne terrace at Hotel Marincanto, built purely for the view, with seafood crudo running alongside the drinks list every evening from five to ten.

The terrace stays small on purpose. A handful of loungers and bar stools face the water, so it feels like a front row seat rather than a scene. Locals already point here first when someone asks where to watch the sun drop into the sea.
