Out toward the Wakaremichi crossing, further from the station than the newer Yukinoshita spots, Telegraph sits next to a local fish shop. Order the pork soup teishoku set during the day, then watch the same room slide into bar mode once evening hits.

Attached to the cafe is a single 34-square-metre private-stay room, about five minutes from Tsurugaoka Hachimangu. It's built for guests staying more than one night, run by the same team behind Univibe.

I visited for a cafe visit. Not only was it a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere, but I was also shown the accommodation facilities. It was spacious and clean, a place I'd love to stay in during a trip. It has good access to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, Kamakura-gu Shrine, and the Kita-Kamakura area, making it perfect for exploring Kamakura on foot. And what I personally enjoyed was the sashimi from the fish shop next door. It was fresh and delicious, and it's nice to be able to enjoy these kinds of local specialties. This time I only used the cafe, but next time I'd definitely like to stay overnight.

I stayed in the guesthouse on the 3rd floor! The interior was so cute, and the futon was so fluffy I slept really well. The shower and hairdryer had good water pressure, making it a stress-free experience ✨ The pork miso soup set meal on the 1st floor was delicious too! Thank you.
