Sixteen square metres, new and secondhand books shelved side by side, and a shop that quietly turns into a bar once the sun goes down. That's Tabitabi Shoten in a nutshell.

Browse titles on feeling low, social problems, books that make you want to leave town, kids' books and a solid run of subculture picks. It closes Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and whenever the owners are off traveling themselves. The name literally means 'travel travel', so you've been warned.
