Harajuku's clubhouse of a select shop, run by the kids who make the clothes

The people who design the clothes are usually the ones behind the counter wearing them. That's the whole appeal of CC STORE, a joint venture between labels Comet and Corrida with artist YAMEPI as its face, on the second floor of the Turtle Harajuku building.

Racks mix the two house labels with vintage picked by COMET VINTAGE, plus YAMEPI's own merch. The crew overlaps with PAT MARKET, the cult shop in Ikebukuro, so you're tapping into a whole network of Tokyo's younger fashion scene. It fills up right after school lets out.

Good to know

• Doors open late by shop standards: 15:00 to 21:00 daily, so it works as an evening stop.
• It's on the second floor of the Turtle Harajuku building, a seven-minute walk from Harajuku station - easy to walk past.
