Georgian comfort food after a day on the Medeu slopes

Ski boots off, khachapuri on the table. Gogra sits on Kerey Zhanibek Khandar Street in the Medeu foothills, close enough to the slopes that half the room is still in ski gear thawing out over cheese bread and khinkali.

The menu covers the full Georgian spread: cold starters, grilled meat, soups, dumplings, dessert, even a kids' menu. Prices stay close to what you'd pay in the city center, which regulars bring up almost as much as the food.

One of the best meals Ive ever had. The food was made with such care. Our waiter was so kind and the atmosphere so peaceful, warm and welcoming. Im so grateful for tonight and feel peaceful, content and refreshed after long travel. Thank you.

Really nice place with a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious and very filling. Everything tasted fresh and well cooked, with great flavors but not too heavy. The staff was friendly and made us feel comfortable. If I’m ever back in Kazakhstan, I will definitely come here again

Cozy atmosphere with great interiors. We stopped for breakfast at Gogra, and had a good time there. There is a small play area within the restaurant premises where you can snow-tube, good for children to play while you wait for the food. Overall a nice place with polite staff.

had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm, and everything was well presented. I especially want to thank Madina , she gave absolutely amazing service. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout my visit. A wonderful Georgian restaurant with great views and lovely interiors. You will not leave hungry. Service was incredible and impeccable. Our Server Vladimir was especially polite and attentive.
