A beach club with a gym, sushi bar, and volleyball court.
Lost opened on Christmas Day 2024, a short walk from Malindi Bay beach and the town center. It's built to fill a whole day, not just an evening: a gym, a sushi bar, a beach volleyball court, a pool, and a sports area sit alongside the bar itself. The design stays minimal and pale, the kind of space that photographs well without trying too hard.
The founders talk about the project as a way to bring business back to local artisans and fishermen, not another resort bar, and the booking calendar backs that up with touring DJ nights (MUZE Open Air, Rammor) that pull people down from Nairobi. Open 11am to 11pm most days, until 3am on Saturdays.
