Kenyan-made aloe skincare, from a Nairobi lab to a Malindi shelf.

Jua by Agar opened its Billionaire Plaza store on July 19, 2025, one of several new shops that launched at the plaza that day. The brand comes from AGAR Limited, a Kenyan producer that builds its line around organic aloe: body cream, cleanser, handwash, hair conditioner, and hair oils.

Malindi is one of three stockists, alongside Village Market in Nairobi and Galu Square in Diani. The coast shops sell mainly to residents and hotel guests rather than passing tourists, and the formulas skip the synthetic fillers common in the category.
