Coffee, toasted sandwiches, and a travel desk in one Bikenibeu room

Chatterbox runs out of the Tobaraoi Travel Agency on the lagoon side of Bikenibeu, so it's a DHL counter and travel desk as much as a cafe. The menu sticks to toasted sandwiches, coffee, and banana smoothies. Still, it's the best food stop on the atoll, in a field with few cafes to compete with.

Air conditioning and a shelf of secondhand books about Kiribati make it a place people actually linger, rare on an island where most food stops are grab and go.
