really nice speciality shop if you’re looking for something other than what all the souvenir shops sell. the selection of canned fish is great and they have different sets too, as well as other products like coffee beans from kalve

Nice shop, especially if you enjoy sprats and other canned fish. They have a great selection of high-quality products, and it’s an excellent place to pick up a unique souvenir or gift to bring home.

I’m new to tinned fish, but feel like I found a gem when visiting Riga! Diplomats have an impressive selection and its exceptional quality and fairly priced. They strike a nice balance between the classics and some innovative tins I wouldn’t expect. The shop keeper convinced me to try the tikka masala sprats, and surprise! It was really good! The Siracha herring was proper siracha. My favorites are definitely the simpler tins of quality fish and maybe one additional flavor, like the pistachio oil, but I had a blast trying a whole bunch of things and will be going back before leaving town.

While a bit on the pricier side, the canned trout is something to die for, and I say this as a person who isn't even particularly fond of fish.

Stumbled upon this little fish delicacy shop by chance and it turned out to be the perfect idea for souvenirs. Riga is famous for its fish, and here you’ll find a wide variety of beautifully packed canned fish in different sauces and unique flavor combinations. Everything looked high quality and carefully made. Definitely worth a visit if you want to take something authentic (and tasty) back home.
