A wholesale food giant's first ever café

MHA has stocked the Maldives' kitchens through import and distribution for over 50 years without ever running a room of its own. Café Descanso changes that on the ground floor of the MHA Building on Orchid Magu.

It's a chance to sit down with the people who've been quietly feeding Malé for decades. Open 7am to 11pm most days, it's already one of the more talked-about new cafes in town.

The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the food and drinks were really good. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. A nice, peaceful place to relax and enjoy a coffee or a quick bite.
