Bubble tea meets a robot waiter on Majeedhee Magu

Ocean Bubbles built its name in Hulhumalé on Taiwanese-style bubble tea and gelato. Its second shop landed on Majeedhee Magu in central Malé, and this one has a robot waiter named Goma running the tables, a first for the brand.

It's a small sign of a bigger trend: Hulhumalé food brands proving themselves on the newer island, then crossing the bridge to the capital.

They specialize in drinks and they have a great collection of bobba teas, ice teas, milk shakes and light snacks. Thai taro milk tea with boba is a personal favorite. The atmosphere is also really pleasant with cute corners, bookshelves and other interesting set ups

★★★★★ Ocean Bubble is an absolute gem in Malé, offering a truly unique and delightful cafe experience. This isn't just your average drink shop—it's a destination with a cool vibe, an impressive menu, and a futuristic twist that makes it stand out from the crowd. What really sets Ocean Bubble apart is the sheer variety of their offerings. While they're famous for their incredible boba teas and refreshing milkshakes, I was thrilled to discover they also have a fantastic selection of both hot and cold drinks. Whether you're in the mood for a rich, hot coffee or a cool, fruity iced beverage, they've got you covered. And it's not just about the drinks! The addition of snacks makes it the perfect spot for a quick bite or a relaxed hangout. The atmosphere is undeniably cool and modern, but the real star of the show is the robot server. It's not just a gimmick; watching the robot smoothly glide to tables, delivering orders with a charming efficiency, is a genuinely fun and memorable part of the experience. It adds a touch of novelty that you won't find anywhere else in the Maldives. Overall, Ocean Bubble delivers on every front: a fantastic selection of delicious drinks and snacks, a great atmosphere, and a show-stopping robot that serves your order. It's a must-visit for anyone looking for a fun, cool, and tasty experience in Malé. I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu!

We visited 6 different places, and only this one had 9 different flavors of popping bobba and jelly. The staff is super nice and accommodating. The prices on the digital board need update as mine said 65, and the real price was 70

Today I had a memorable experience, for the first time I bought here. And the recommended menu is very, very delicious. And the most impressive thing was the service of one of the staff (male), sorry I forgot the staff's name, he was very friendly and welcoming. And also know the available menu so that I can find my favorite drink that I want. next time I will come again. Please give appreciation to the staff and success for you Ocean Bubble Male🤍

I love the ambience of Ocean Bubbles, Male, with the presence of AoBo (the robot). The vibe here is cozy and ideal to meet with friends, as they also have an area which will give you some privacy too. The Honey Dew bubble tea was good, though I was expecting the taste it to be the same as the one I had in Hulhumale. The cashier seemed confused with my orders, nevertheless, she was able to understand what I wanted and got my orders right. It also would be nice if staff would smile a little bit more to make the entire experience great. 😊
