All-day breakfast, brunch and cocktails

Tribe runs an all-day menu of breakfast, brunch, lunch and cocktails from a corner site toward the South Street end of the city. It has since carried the concept over to the UK, but the Malta room is the original.

The food is casual and shareable, built for long, unhurried sittings that slide from coffee into cocktails. It suits a slow start to the day as much as an early-evening drink.

This was a unique experience. First, they own their vibe. It's different than most places in Valletta, and they're true to it. It has a very modern and fresh atmosphere. The service was very polite and attentive. Finally, the food was the most unique mix of flavors I've ever had. I ordered the sweet chix and loved it. My wife and daughter loved their plates as well.

I saw TRiBE recommended online before my trip to Malta, so I decided to give it a try. While it felt a bit touristy but I did enjoy my meal. I ordered the "Sweet Soul Sister" entree, and it was packed with flavor. The coffee was decent, but nothing particularly memorable or something I'd order again. The service, however, was a bit disappointing. It was the first time during my solo trip that I felt slightly out of place and they seemed annoyed that I wanted a table for one. I got the impression they were eager to turn my table once it started getting busy. Overall I'm glad I tried it, but if I were back in Malta, it wouldn't be at the top of my list to revisit. There are plenty of other restaurants I'd choose before coming back here.

Great atmosphere - you can sit outside or indoor. Service was great. Food was exceptional. Portions for some items are bigger than one would expect without compromising quality. Great restaurant.

Best food we have ever had. Smoothies, coffees and cocktails were amazing too. Huge menu with loads of choice. Service was flawless. Our waitress Venus was so helpful. Highly Reccomend!

Busy restaurant for a reason! The staff gave outstanding service throughout all the team. They get some bashing from customers but remain happy and efficient. The food is some of the best ive had! The pancakes were one-of the greatest thing I have tried. This is world class good food in portions for the brave! Have the pancakes, its heaven!
