Moroccan fusion in a small room next to the Blue Gate
Mida Kitchen sits right by Bab Boujloud, the blue gate, and skips the tourist tagine that fills that corner of the medina. Instead it runs Moroccan cooking against Asian and international flavors.
The menu stays short on purpose, and the room seats just a handful. Open noon to 10pm, every day.

I had a coffee and the Lemon & Basil Cream dessert, and both were amazing! The dessert was fresh, unique, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere at Mida Kitchen is lovely nice pleace and nice music and calm, and the service was outstanding. The staff were so kind, welcoming, and attentive. I truly enjoyed my visit and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended! thank you mida 🙏

A gem. Delicious and unique food with a lovely staff, an oasis in the middle of a hectic neighborhood. A couple places down the street we tried had food that looked fancy but was subpar. This food was actually delicious and at an amazing price. Loved it.

We have been traveling through Morocco for ten days now and we’re looking for something a bit different from the traditional Tangine. The Mida Kitchen had good reviews so we decided to give it a try. Wow, did we make a good decision! It is a small place and the owner/chef runs the front of house. We ordered several of their specialties and they were some of the best dishes we have had in Morocco! The dumplings and Chicken with Orange Sauce were some of our favorites! We enjoyed it so much, we plan on going back tonight! Would highly recommend the next time you are in Fez!

We were delighted to stumble upon this fantastic restaurant. The food is amazing. We had the saffron chicken and the beef tagine with prunes. We loved the food and atmosphere so much that we went back the next night. Despite being so close to the blue gate, the prices were not jacked up for tourists.

Such a sweet place! Really nice service and incredible deliciouse food in a lovely, small ambiente. You have to try the kafte tajin and the mint tee for sure, on top of that also the lemon basil cream. Absolutely worth a visit and supporting a young team. We will come back one day!
