Toe Beans opens at 6:30am, right across from Gozo Azul Diving. That makes it the default coffee stop before an early dive boat. The kitchen turns out homemade lasagne and what regulars call the OG bunny chow, a hollowed loaf filled with curry. There's WiFi and the usual internet-cafe setup.

It's dog-friendly, which matters here since most visitors travel with their own dog or borrow one of the resident ones. The vibe stays loose enough that people camp out with laptops long after breakfast is over.

Good to know

  Toe beans is a must if you go to Ponta. The cashew and banana smoothie is so delicious and the coffee as well. Every time I am in Ponta I make sure to stop by. Great vibe.
