A Mauritian pub with dodo murals and a pizza cult following
Infused rums and signature cocktails poured under dodo murals at a classic wooden bar, a nod to the owners' Mauritian roots. There's a pool table, a VIP room, two bars and an outdoor terrace built for a full night out.
The pizza has built its own following alongside the cocktails. Dodo sits on a Golden Valley road that's slowly filling in with bars, not far from Rangoon Tea House's branch there.

Moved recently to Yangon & I found my new regular pub! Dodo pub is my home, after office : cold beers and a good pool table. Great pub food ! Quite an interesting menu for a pub, excellent roast beef and very good burgers ! Top notch !

Do Do Yangon is an okay place to hang out, but it was disappointing that we could not play pool ball unless we are members. The membership fee is around 15 lakh MMK, which feels quite expensive. Overall, the place is decent, but the membership restriction reduced the experience.

Dodo Yangon is definitely one of those places you may need to reserve in advance — it was packed when I went (maybe because it was Saturday), with lots of foreigners as well. Walk-ins might end up at the bar counter, which honestly turned out to be a better experience for me. Not a big fan of the small room tables anyway. Food was great overall. Popcorn prawn was very fresh and juicy, pounded mutton tea leaf salad was refreshing with a generous amount of mutton, 3 cheese mini pizza was really good, and Kyaw Kyaw Myo fried beef paired perfectly with drinks. Bartender girl was veryyyyy friendly and made the whole experience even better. We even got on-the-house shots, which was a nice touch. Everything we tried was great — definitely a place you won’t regret coming back to. They also have membership options available. Highly recommended 👍

Foods are more than we expected. Spicy Chicken fried rice, Burmese Tea Salad, Samosa are must try. Service is more than extraordinary. We feel like home here. They are not doing business. They are enjoying their business and enjoying serving us. We have to come here again. Unforgettable moments here🥰 Just see the photo how many dishes we ordered.

One of my favourite places to get a pizza. The toast/bread menus have never disappointed. Tartar and beef were also nice. It is slightly more expensive and when dining in, can be quite noisy with a crowd. Recommended!
