Vegan all-day café on the corner of the Dappermarkt

Café Dapper is vegan top to bottom and doesn't make a fuss about it, which is exactly why meat eaters end up here too. It sits right on the corner of Dapperstraat and Von Zesenstraat, steps from the market stalls outside.

Most of what lands on the table is Dutch: coffee from a local roaster, lemonades from local produce, nuts and cheese picked up at the Dappermarkt itself. Breakfast and coffee from nine, then lunch, borrel and dinner, Wednesday to Sunday.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, kind attentive staff who explained the menu expertly. Great for gluten free. Would highly recommend the fish dishes. 10/10 can't wait to go back

Absolutely amazing sunny day here for a few drinks and snacks on the terrace. Some of the best friendly, cool and fun waitresses with great recommendations and good vibes! Dog friendly as well!

Everything’s average. Shared dining and pescatarian menu. Pasta product supplied by the amazing Nico’s trattoria shop nearby - unfortunately they don’t make it justice because it’s served overcooked.
