They call it the least hip wine bar in Amsterdam, and mean it as a compliment. Tire-Bouchon took over the room where Hanneke Schouten served Lyonnais food for 27 years as Bouchon du Centre, and the Verbunt family behind Café Oosterling now run it.

The list runs past 500 wines, and the food changes with the season, bought from businesses in the neighbourhood. Rare for a wine bar, it stays open all day, seven days a week.

Great menu with a variety of small dishes, a surprisingly beautiful wine collection, super attentive and professional staff, a combination of a neighborhood restaurant and a new wine/food concept, so it will get very busy soon because this is a wonderfully relaxed place to grab a drink and a bite to eat. 👍🏾
