Natural wine and crispy bites in the Staatsliedenbuurt

Fermént runs two lives in one room: a coffee spot from 8:30am, then a natural wine bar once the pours switch over around 4pm. The wine list stays vegetable-forward on the food side, with crispy snackable bites built to match.

Glass prices start at 6.50 euros for a pet-nat, low enough to try something unfamiliar.

The wines are great. The staff is extremely friendly and open to chit chat. Today we had a wonderful time with Alisa. She helped us choosing the wine and was very attentive The place is dog-friendly. The very first seconds we received a proposition for water bowl for our dog The bar is located in non-touristic area, you really feel like a local there

Extremely nice place. Location is quiet and the terrace is very cosy and aesthetic We came for wine and had a wonderful time. The owner has shared interesting facts about wines and let us try many different wines Also their schedule is flexible. Even though the opening hours are set, they said we can stay as long as we like

Came here Saturday and Sunday this weekend while we were staying in the area temporarily. The barista was excellent, fast, friendly and made a great flat white! Highly recommend this spot and we would definitely come back again if we’re on this side of Amsterdam.

Such a lovely place. The owners are very kind and welcoming, and it’s always nice to chat with them. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, you just feel good being here. Great selection of wine and really good coffee. The cheeses and marmalade are also very tasty — I especially loved the onion marmalade. I really recommend this place 🤍
