I had one of the best tartares I’ve ever had. Also there was a toast with mushrooms which was fantastic. A little rich perhaps for some, but I just absolutely loved them both.

This restaurant is almost perfect. My fiancée and I ate here twice during our four day trip to Amsterdam. We called for a reservation twice, but were weirdly seated in the most awkward seating available (shoulder to shoulder with other people). If the seating at this restaurant was more spaced out and thoughtful I would not have taken a star from my review. The steak tartare and sourdough bread was great. Our entrees were excellent and dessert was good. Service was nice.

Absolutely wonderful from start to finish. We arrived early and were offered a canal side table for a pre dinner G&T which was a perfect start to a glorious evening. Staff were exceptional and genuinely interested in our opinions after each course. The menu was beautifully balanced and our choices delicious. The atmosphere is quietly discreet and the decor stylish and intimate. Had we been staying for longer we would have booked for another evening without hesitation. Thank you so much and keep doing exactly what you are doing!!

The food and wine were really good. Great atmosphere as well. The only downside was the sofa is sagging. It was a bit difficult to sit.

We had made a reservation in advance, but unfortunately our booking was not in their system when we arrived. Despite this, the staff were very accommodating and managed to find us a table on the terrace, which we really appreciated. As the restaurant was quite busy, we had to wait a little before being served, which was understandable. One suggestion for improvement would be to bring out the drinks and cocktails first, followed by the food. That way, guests at least have something to enjoy while waiting for their meals. Unfortunately, it took quite a long time for the food to arrive, and the dishes were not served at the same time for everyone at the table. The cocktails actually arrived after the food, so we spent most of our time sitting outside without anything to drink. That being said, the food itself was absolutely outstanding — a clear 10/10. The quality and flavors were exceptional. With a bit more coordination and timing in the service, the overall experience would have been nearly perfect. Highly recommended for the food!
