Step past the door and you're in a national monument, not just another shop rail. Anna van Toor's Maastricht outpost sits a couple of minutes from the Vrijthof, and the interior, designed by WSB, was built around the building's original character rather than over it.

The Wolfstraat is a short stretch of fashion addresses linking the Stokstraatkwartier to the main shopping streets. Belgian label Xandres moved into the neighbouring number 16 later the same year, making this end of the street worth a slow walk.
