Zeeland shoes and fashion, now on Brugstraat
Omoda made the trip from Zierikzee, about as far from Limburg as the Netherlands gets, and picked Maastricht for a reason. Director Jan Baan says the chain stays picky about locations, and this city was one where Omoda simply belonged.
The shop sits in the building Vanilia left empty when the Dutch label collapsed. That handoff has become a pattern on this stretch of Maastrichter Brugstraat, one chain closing and another moving in within months.
