Wine bar, rotisserie and a long terrace on the Lijnbaan

The Lijnbaan is for shopping, not for lingering. Rotterdams Genoegen argues otherwise with a long terrace on the first stretch of the street and a room that runs from breakfast to a late glass of wine.

Steven Rokette also took over cocktail bar Amehoela. Here he put seafood at the centre. Evenings bring dishes from the Josper grill and the rotisserie. Brunch and specialty coffee earlier, wine and cocktails throughout. Open daily since summer 2026.

The roasted chicken was very good. However, the "aus jus" was mixed with some asian peanut sauce and really didnt said in the menu. A delicious classic jus would be great. The chicken wings were buffalo and blue cheese but were sent just with a bbq , botteled. Nothing good from this. Maybe a mistake, but with a josper in yout kitchen you can surley make a homemade bbq just in case... the shrimps were frozen from a conmercial way, i would remove them from the menu or make them from scratch.

We had dinner here and it was an absolutely lovely experience. The food was divine from start to finish. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely kind throughout the evening, making the whole meal feel effortless.especially Andra and sherall. From the seafood menu, we ordered the Mossel Pan, the Grilled King Prawns, the Gamba Pil Pil, and the Crispy Calamari, every single dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully prepared. We also had the Prime Beef Tenderloin and The Butcher’s Ribeye, both cooked to perfection and incredibly delicious. On the side, we went with the Loaded Fries and the Mixed Mushrooms, which complemented everything perfectly. Highly recommend this place offer a fantastic combination of great food, wonderful service, and a memorable evening.

New spot in Rotterdam. Hidden away yet central. Lovely terrace and modern vibe. The staff is very friendly and the menu is varied and fun. Definitely worth stopping by for a bite to eat or a drink.
