Charcoal steak seven nights a week on the Denneweg

The Mama Steak is the smaller cut on the menu, and it's often the better order than its namesake. Everything comes off the charcoal grill, with Papa Friet on the side and a wine list long enough to build a whole night around.

Fish gets equal billing: dorade off the grill, a sesame-crusted tuna steak, sole meunière. The grill runs all seven days, which on the Denneweg is not a given.

I had one of the best ribeye steaks I’ve ever had at Papa Steak. It was tasty, tender and perfectly prepared. The side dishes were excellent and our dessert was very yummy. I highly recommend this restaurant.

One word: gorgeous. Gorgeous ribeye steak, gorgeous ambiance, gorgeous service. Our waiter made us feel like he truly cared about us, he has a true desire to serve and max the joy.

We were seated at the bar, the counter is pretty big, just as a regular table for 4 people. Actually we loved it, every drink the bartender was preparing was like a show, this guy out a lot of passion on it and it shows. He made THE BEST Pornstar Martini for me and the best Liquor 43 Sour. Everyone on the work floor was super friendly, the food was deliciousssss, fast service, as starter we had the Papa Steak Plateau which is for 2 persos, was amazing, the Ibrico Croquettes are A MUST and for the main course we had steak, of course, Papa Steak and Mama Steak. Absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend this place, for sure we will be back 🙌🏻

Papa Steak has been on my list for a while, and they definitely didn’t disappoint! The steak 🥩 was cooked to perfection, and the wine selection was extensive with some really great options. I also appreciated that the sides were larger than the typical small portions you usually get. Thank you for that! The interior design was beautiful, stylish yet comfortable. The only downside is that it does get quite loud, which makes it hard to have a proper conversation so maybe not the best choice for a date 🤣. The service was excellent, attentive and friendly throughout. For dessert, I had the cheesecake, and it was absolutely delicious! I’d definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice evening out.
