Gastrobar in the old Mint building on the Muntkade
Utrecht used to strike its coins here. The Muntgebouw on the edge of Lombok now holds Florijn, a gastrobar that leans on the building's weight without turning it into a museum piece.
The terrace faces south, which in this city beats any dish on the menu. Bubbles in the afternoon, a proper dinner after dark, and a room that fills up from six.

Finally, a place worthy of the beautiful location. Upscale, but not pretentious or stuffy. Good food, great service, friendly staff. They’ve done a good job with the place. Particularly, the interior. Definitely recommend. Thanks for a lovely evening, Gastrobar Florijn.

Had a lovely evening on the beautiful terrace. Tasty and surprising flavors on the plate, and the service was prompt. They are still a bit unfamiliar with their knowledge of the menu and the wine, but they are trying their best. I would love to come back here again.

Everything we tried were well designed rich flavours. There are 2 types of dishes in the menu. One like tapas size to share, one like a medium size main dish not too big. The building, both indoor and outdoor armosphere is very elegant. Service was fast for a friday evening.

I had a phenomenal evening! The staff were incredibly friendly and highly professional. There were also a few new servers, but they were extremely knowledgeable and very enthusiastic. The food was great and the wines were also very nice! I highly recommend this place!
