Family recipes from Lombok's Surinamestraat
The recipes come from the owner's mother, and the couple behind SU haven't smoothed them out for a Dutch palate. That's the whole point on a stretch of Lombok where half the shops already sell food from somewhere else.
It's dinner only, starting at three in the afternoon. Fridays and Saturdays run an hour longer, and that's when the small room gets loud.
