Vino Bar pours wine by the glass or bottle in a small room in the middle of Ålesund. It's built for a slow drink, not a big night out, and the list rewards people who take their time.

Small plates come out alongside the wine, enough to keep you at the table a while longer. One of the cosier options among the town's bars.

This wine bar boasts a huge selection of wines from around the world. The atmosphere here is cozy and warm and we absolutely enjoyed our time there. The charcuterie board was great and recommended wines (we went by glass) were unique and tasty. One thing to improve a bit is service - while it was friendly, we lacked attention and needed to search for our waitress to make an order. Also, I belive in such places it's mandatory to offer unlimited water and make sure your customers always have a carafe or glasses full. While we were provided water on request - we had to ask for it and then for a refill.

Great wine bar with a great wine list - also if you only want to try single glasses instead of a bottle. The atmosphere is great, the cellar looks very cool, and there are possibilities to either sit in smaller groups or along a big shared table. Highly recommend!

It was really nice! The bathrooms were clean and the wine was good. I would recommend the orange wine or the vinho verde. Great service chilled atmosphere

As my wife and I had been visiting Alesund we found a winebar witch looked inviting so as explorers we ventured inside, this was for us a lovely find so we sat and chatted to a lovely lady who looked after us, with reference to some fine wines and recommend one, witch we both enjoyed and also had a charcuterie board with intalian olives so please do visit if you are nearby on a trip.
