Delectable duck sandwich, it’s pretty stuffed with meat considering the price (I think it was 179kr). Also has a great mustard sauce that pairs perfectly with the duck. Furthermore, they also have a number of high quality ingredients for sale. Great value and taste for the price 🦆 ⭐️

The attendants were very friendly and receptive. Of course when it comes to food it is a matter of taste. I had the duck sandwich. It was, as expected, greasy. Afterall this is duck meat. It was delicious with plenty of meat, but I found it really dry. I think there should be some kind of sauce on the sandwich to make it feel less dry.

We stumbled upon Galopin Vinbar at Mathallen Oslo while walking up the Akerselva, and it was a delightful surprise! The staff were incredibly inviting, making us feel right at home. We decided to stay and enjoy some food and drinks, sharing the Mont d’or and charcuterie with a glass of wine and a blueberry soda. The charcuterie selection was fantastic, featuring a great variety of cheeses and meats, and the wine pairing was perfect for my partner. Even though it’s a wine bar, their non-alcoholic menu was impressive. We would definitely visit again and highly recommend Galopin to anyone passing by. A must-visit spot in Oslo!

Great wine tasting experience at Galopin in Mathallen! Tried four Burgundy wines with cheese pairings, and the staff gave clear, informative explanations that added a lot to the experience. Learned a few new things about wine, and everything was really well chosen. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking to explore wine in a relaxed setting.
