Corner bar for wine, cocktails and late kebab

Happy Ending is the livelier sibling to Nektar Vinbar, opened by the same family in a converted old massage studio on the corner of Rosteds gate. It pours wine and cocktails alongside upscale bar food.

The late-night kebab has a following, and Aftenposten Vink named its night food among the city's best. The kitchen runs late into the evening on weekends.

Fantastic and tasty options for sharing and a sensible wine menu, but we had champagne. The tartar sandwich is the best I’ve had. Delicious vegetarian options. Great drinks! I Shazammed their playlist several times. A happy ending to en evening out indeed. Going back for sure.

GREAT spot with immaculate vibes. We got there when it was a little busy but had a cocktail in the secret speakeasy out back while we waited for our table which was a nice touch. Would recommend the Vesper Martini and Cloud 8. We also had the tartare toast as a snack which was light and delicious, with a little punch from some horseradish. On to the food. We shared the mushroom parfait, k-bbq Lion’s Man (mushroom on mushroom, I know) and then the lamb shawarma. Everything was delicious. 10/10, no notes. Then to the vibe. It looks a bit like a vintage diner with bar seating and tall tables. It’s a cosy squeeze but I think that adds to the friendly atmosphere, along with the great staff and service. It was the perfect way to start our weekend in Oslo and it’s going to be a tough act for anyone to follow.

Their chicken shawarma and batata harra were delicious. Marinated olives are also great snacks.

Packed and trendy! Cool place. Food is okay price wise, I guess for Oslo. However it was indeed tasty, a 4/5. The shawarma was honestly great. Also everyone working there was so cool. Good time
