Talormade is a specialty coffee roastery and bakery in Bjørvika that makes its coffee and its baking from scratch each day at the same site. The pairing of house-roasted coffee with fresh pastry is the whole idea.

The location down by Operagata puts it within reach of the Opera and the newer waterfront developments. It roasts on the premises.

We came mostly for the donuts, which were delicious. But we were nicely surprised by the coffee. We had the batch (listed as "black coffee") but it was anything but the generic burnt dark and bitter liquid most people call coffee. Pretty complex taste, some acidity, some sweetness. And you get a free refill. Highly recommend.

Delicious bagel with cream cheese and salmon. The bagel was a perfect texture. The lady behind the counter was so kind and friendly. Sadly, I didn’t have room for a doughnut also. Beautiful indoor setting and outdoor tables facing the harbor. Couple blocks from the munch museum in Opera House.

Amazing doughnuts! The staff were very nice, the coffee was really nice. They had vegan options as well which was great! All allergens were listed which was lovely too.

Fantastically fun atmosphere, awesome donuts, and surprisingly affordable! Don't think prices have changed in 5 years. Huge donut and specialty coffee with free refill for less than €10 is unbeatable.

No word of a lie, best coffee in Europe. If you are an Australian you will know what I mean 🥰 Discovered this cafe after a visit to the Munch Museum and we were so lucky we happened upon Talormade. We had the best coffee here on our 8 week European holiday. The donuts were fresh and delicious. So many flavours to choose from. The owner is also a lovely, friendly person! Do not skip this place.
