Tromsø's oldest pub, pouring beer since 1928

Ølhallen, “the beer hall,” opened in 1928 as the taproom of the Mack brewery and is still Tromsø's oldest pub. The long bar pours Mack's own beers alongside a rotating range of guest craft brews.

It keeps early hours, so it's as much a stop for an afternoon pint as a night out. The walls are hung with photos and gear from Arctic polar expeditions of the past.
