Coffee, cakes and a proper lunch spot in the centre

Smørtorget pours coffee and bakes its own cakes and buns right in the middle of Tromsø. The buns are the reason to stop, and the coffee gets just as much care.

The room is small and warm, built for sitting out the weather. A good pause between the shops.

Quesadillas were so good, bravo ! Kids loved the ham and chese croissant. And brownie is very good too! It is a nice place for our kids 6 and 9 because many small corners to lunch isolated but together. The decoration is beautiful. Perfect place for a family! Thank you for this very nice and cosy moment.

Nice place, good food. However, we felt like we annoyed the people working there and the service was pretty slow. It’s also a bit pricey for what it is.

Lovely stop at Smørtorget in Tromsø — relaxed atmosphere, friendly service, and really fresh food. The omelette was perfectly cooked, the cinnamon roll deliciously soft, and both latte and cappuccino were excellent. A great place for a cozy breakfast or coffee break — would happily come back!

Cute café with uni vibes. It was very busy on the weekend but during the week it was rather empty and more locals went to study or work there. The coffee was amazing, even though it took a while. Unlike other cafés, they have various breakfast options, vegetarian as well (that is not just pastries)
